Halleluja!
Indeed there is a God in the sky!
XD
Last night after many fears, years, as well as tears, I FINALLY saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
I am satisfied.
Did I like this movie?
Yes.
Do I think it is the best one so far?
I’m still leaning more towards Goblet of Fire, but I think this one was pretty good.
Do I think it’s better than Twilight?
Why would you even ask me, of all people, that?
LOL.
During this movie I laughed, pondered, heck, I almost cried.
Those of us who are obsessed Harry Potter maniacs like myself would only understand too well.
My heart goes out to my favorite blonde bad-boy evil piece of man candy, Draco Malfoy.
I do not believe he is truly evil.
He is simply a lost and confused young soul.
He never had a chance…
It is true that this movie was truest to the book.
I noticed quotes from the book that were mentioned and that was cool.
I loved what they did in the beginning, with Harry and the diner chick… That was really cute.
I did notice though that Dumbledore was a little all up in Harry’s business when it came to his love life, which I thought was funny, but at the same time I was like “Why do you care?! You’re gay remember?!”
LOL.
I loved how Harry was acting after he drank the Felix Felicis. Dan is so adorable. A little queer at times, but adorable nonetheless.
XD
When I got home around 12:45 am, The Patriot was playing on TNT and then I realized ‘Oh, they didn’t show my homeboy Lucius in this movie!’
For those of us who don’t know, Lucius, Lucius Malfoy that is, is Draco’s father (duh) and is played by Jason Isaacs, who was the bad guy in The Patriot with the beautiful blue eyes and long black hair who killed Heath Ledger in the movie (sorry if I ruined it for anyone XD).
Then I realized ‘Hello! Lucius wasn’t there because he was in Azkaban prison! Nu-duh!’
Yeah I know, I haven’t read HBP in over 2 years.
Anyways, I thought it was an overall good movie.
Lavender Brown, a little on the psycho side.
Cormac McLaggen, a fine piece arse if you ask me. When he looked at Hermione and licked his pinky, Idk why the hell she was so uncomfortable, I mean, the guy was bangin’, and I would totally be appreciating if he looked at me that way.
ROFL.
Ginny, a little on the *cough* slutty *cough* side. LOL. JK JK. But she was being a little too flirty, Idk.
Ron was looking uber-cute I think. When he drank the love potion, hilarious. He has nice arms too. Have you seen the HBP promo pic of him in his Quidditch uniform? He was looking mighty fine there. :P Little Won-Won (Lav Lav’s nickname for him. ROFL) is growing up. (-‘8
Harry was Harry, as usual. Definitely funny.
Draco…. My dear Draco. So lonely… D-‘X
The movie could not be complete without throwing in some Voldie in there, and though we don’t get some Ralph Fiennes, we do get Ralph Fiennes nephew, who played 11 year old Tom Riddle. I thought he was so cute with his chubby cheeks, being all evil, talking to snakes. XD
Voldemort really is something. I missed him… *tear*
Last but not least, the part where one of the Inferi come out of the water and get a hold of Harry, I jumped like 3 feet into the air. XD
I saw it coming, yet it still took me by surprise. LOL.
They didn’t show Dumbledore’s funeral, but it was a 2 hr and 33 minute movie, I mean, they can’t get it all in there.
It was all good.
P.S. Harry and Ginny’s kiss? Yeah, it could’ve been better. In the book it was pretty good, here…. Meh.
XD
LMAO! I agree with you on EVERYTHING! :D Especially the kiss part. I mean. Wtf was that. It was like. BLAH. Lolol. But yeah. We must hang out again! (:
